The first one, “Praized Community”, will help you deploy your complete blog local search functionality (17M+ business listings, search functionality, voting/tagging/commenting/sharing tools, etc.). The second one, Praized Publishing Tool, will help you deploy the editorial tools to allow you to blog about places and tie everything back to your local search section.

How to blog about a local place using Praized:

By adding the Praized Publishing Tool plugin to your blog, you’re now able to write about local places by automatically inserting a snippet of place information directly within your blog posts. To try this feature, go to the Beta-Tribe.com back office , log-in using the username/password you used to access this preview site and select the Write Post page. To insert a place in your blog post, select the "HTML" tab and click on the "Praized tools" button. You can either embed a query or embed specific places.

To embed a query, search for something by filling out the “Look For” and “City” boxes and clicking “Go!”. Once you’re satisfied with the query, click on “Embed this query”. Select the number of places you want to embed (from 1 to 10) and if you want merchant addresses added. Click on done. Code is instantly generated in your future blog post. Do other searches if you want to blog about multiple places. You can now write and publish your article.

In sum, these new Praized blog plugins allow you to:

  1. Offer a new local search feature to all your readers, accessible via a new local section in your Web site, a search box and a widget.
  2. Blog/write about local places by embedding snippets of Praized place information (merchant name, contact information, vote results) in your editorial content. Keep traffic within your own web site when you refer to a specific place.
